Sister Roxanna

I am coming from a Romanian orthodox family and was introduced to The Lord and His word as a child, by my grandfather who didn’t have much spiritual understanding, but he revered The Lord.

When I was attending high school, I became interested in worldly distractions and by the time I joined university, I was completely  spiritually numb. After I met my husband, we both wanted to serve The Lord, but we didn’t understand much of what it would look like, until something happened and The Lord spoke to us and called us to repent and follow Him.

Psalm 51 became my prayer and I was so thankful.  The joy of salvation was immense, but we both suffered a lot because we were not aware of the spiritual warfare. But, at the appointed time, The Lord sent mother Diana in our lives and through her, He showed us what it really means to be a servant of Jesus.

She is a strong pilar, that faithfully helped build and strengthen my faith.

We spent a lot of time in close fellowship and mother Diana shared with me the mysteries that The Lord revealed to her, and she gave herself  wholly in order to help me.

Since then, it has been a continuous process of transformation and I bless His name for being very patient and loving, and also I bless His name for giving mother Diana such a devoted heart, a heart full of patience and hope, even though it was quite a challenge, as I found it hard to take courage and submit to the will of God. My biggest struggle was to reset my mind regarding the role of a mother with young children. I was working many hours daily thinking that I am actually a responsible mother that works hard for the family. It took a few years to finally accept the will of The Lord and to see that He is faithful all the way and that all is well when you trust in Him. After having our 3rd child, I stopped joining fellowship in 2019, as I was trying to deal with a very difficult trial and was overwhelmed with guilt and confusion. This year, in 2024, The Lord brought me back to the fellowship, by His Grace.

I thank The Lord for giving me the opportunity to know Him and be a part of those who are set apart, consecrated to Christ.
